    Have a sporter and looking to do the same thing. Cut the mounting portion down to give it more depth like the V3 to account for larger muzzle brakes. Just have to hit up lowes to see what I come up with.

    6.5 Grendel bolt gun with 123 ELD Match

    Xbr 8082 and cfe 223 are good powders to start with. Xbr should max about 28-28.5 grs and 223 maxes 31-32 grs, although 223 is more forgiving when looking for pressure signs so you may be able to go further. Look at 65grendel.com for loads of recipes
