in addition to the aforementioned, i would very strongly advocate having someone take several photos of you set up getting ready to shoot...taken from several angles. addressing and modifying position/fit (length of pull, comb height, position of recoil pad etc.) can make a huge difference.
assuming fire....all living thing, passport, deeds, wallet, id, cash and jewelry, cell phone, water, food, backpack, meds, firearm, ammo, fuel, matches if you really have time...if little time, living things, cash, water, cell phone, wallet
I know little compared to those above but......is it perhaps possible that the whole barreled action is rotated as it insets into the stock/bedding? is the bedding the culprit?
i guess i would start to confirm whether the rail, trigger, bore axis, center of the recoil lug, center of the magwell...
i wonder if something like the Zanotti Modular Safes might work out well for your purpose. While i've never owned one I have heard them favorably mentioned in other forums. Reportedly nice quality and being modular in design they come apart so you can build one in your closet for a little extra...
that was very interesting....
what i've been trying to do and what i thought was correct when shooting prone for example was to level the rifle by setting the rear of the stock on the bag while chest/shoulder pocketing the recoil pad and slightly drawing the rifle into me so that i could...

i'll have to watch some...

didn't mean to redirect the thread...sorry OP
this is the bag i currently use but it's not a great design, there are little ring holes so filler leaks out...i finally was able to get some tape on the inside cavity, i teased it through the tiny fill valve so it no longer leaks but i seem to fight the bag, it's not forgiving...maybe it's the...
The way my rifle stock is designed and perhaps based on my positioning i often have to layer bags or find myself squatting lower that comfortable. It's too old a design and so doesn't have a bag rider.
Do you happen to make an 8 inch or 9 inch tall rear bag that would still fold up a bit to...
when i used to shoot Trap it was not uncommon to for competitors to apply Bondo Dura Glass, the automotive body work compound with fiberglass, to build up the grip. The Bondo is very inexpensive. Some preferred Devcon epoxy.
Saw a lot of examples that looked really nice, they would paint it...
