Suppressors Rotary Baffles - Opinions, Has It Been Done, Is it worth the effort

Cost. I like your idea of converting all that pressure into kinetic energy instead of just heat.

Yes, dropped right in without issue.

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

It's a little too eurofag with the black and stainless so I'm going to give it some green and brown. (223 mag is for effect as my 308 mags weren't accessible)

Get you a K31 while the getting is good

I got mine for 89 ten years ago. It wasn't an AIM import and the import mark is subtle on the barrel. Such a shame to deface them. I live those match sights Buffalowinter!

    Ruger Gunsite Scout Upgrades

I will say that a 6.5CM chambered scout would not be a bad thing at all.

    Ruger Gunsite Scout Upgrades

I think that rifle is best left as is and resold if you're trying to make something better out of it. If you swap stocks you're looking at a custom inlet for the DBM. A lot of smiths don't like to bed Rugers. Lord knows whose chassis you'd use. I'd sell it and use the classifieds here to work...

    X ray L2/3 rail install Q.

Use the backing plates (or nuts)that came with the kit ? I think that's covered in the instructions? I ran into that with the spigot mount as I skipped reading the instructions before I started assembling (just like I did with Legos).

New X-Ray Chassis from KRG-now shipping!

Got mine today from a sopping wet FedEx driver. I have a CG Jackson trigger on my R700and it dropped right in. Remembering to install the spigot first, that's another story. Thanks Justin!

    Any reloading industry guys???

By the time they got all the equipment delivered and installed they would already be on the back slope of the demand spike.

I believe that the 162 AMAX came off the suspended production list this year.

    190 SMK and IMR4064

1200 ASL 20" barrel? I'd go for a higher node that memo43 but tread lightly over 41.5 grains at magazine length. Whose chamber and throat? You can stuff a lot more 4064 in a case with a bullet seated out to the lands in a 700 chamber. I'm assuming single loading will be ok because if you were...

Nearly stock Rem 700 in 6mm Rem Question

If you ever find it, mine loved the Remington loaded 75 accutip. Under MOA with 1/4" knots. This is back in the late 90's so I can't comment on their current lineup.

Nearly stock Rem 700 in 6mm Rem Question

Since you are embracing the thread hijack. Yes, it's a barrel blank type of affair. It's a 6mm wildcat based off the 6.5 Creedmoor. That's basically a modified 22-250 case which shares the same boltface with the 6mm Rem. If you're willing to rebarrel there are certainly worse choices in a SA...

Nearly stock Rem 700 in 6mm Rem Question

I'd use that rifle for shooting steel, smaller splattery critters and deer/antelope. I wouldn't try shooting groups with it. It'll be a nasty shooter with a 95 vld, 75 Vmax and if you have a need for speed shoot the 55-60 grainers at vermin. My 6mm cuts knots with Varget and 60 grain Sierras.

    22-250 Ackley Questions/Help

I see the lack of need for trimming as a big selling point for the Ackley. Cases like the 22-250 and Swift have too much taper and will require regular maintenance. I shoot a 223 AI and it shoots well under MOA fireforming with no need to trim in the first 4 firings so far. I'm guessing that the...
