New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Here’s a short video on them from NRA 2025. Video
Besides this video, I see no other signs of life. Does anyone have any more information (specs, price, release date) on these? They look interesting assuming the performance and price are competitive with other options on the market.
Oh I fully agree. But when the RH25v2 can do 85% of the job of the Voodoo-S for $12,000 less, it’s hard for any individual who doesn’t have access to Uncle Sam’s credit card to justify that purchase.
If it wasn’t obvious that I was talking about the civilian market, then let me make that clear...
I ultimately went with the AGM StingIR 640 over the NOX18 due to the clipon capability. At least AGM was an American company, even if the StingIR was just a rebadged Jerry-YM from Iray.
I fully agree with the comment made just above about NVision turning into Trijicon. Had some bangers last...
This thing will be obsolete before it even gets released.
It’s sad. I like NVision. I’ve almost bought a NOX18 multiple times, and talked with them about buying one of their “blem” Filmless PVS-14’s that they offer from time to time(they didn’t have any in stock at the time), but their product...
You were able to buy a StingIR at Walmart?
But I reached out to AGM to see if they were aware of the parasitic drain, and if there was anything I could do about it, or if they had any recommendations for battery banks. The response I got was that I was doing the shutdown sequence wrong when...
I’m really tired of picking up my StingIR and either:
-Finding out the batteries had parasitic drain since the last time I used the thermal and they’re dead
Or
-having to take out the battery after every use and put it back in every time I want to use my thermal.
This seems like the dumbest...
The issue isn’t necessarily not remembering what slot the thermal goes onto, it’s being able to reliably be able to switch between handholding the thermal and weapons mounting it while in the dark. Like mentioned above, I’m currently using some Larue index clips in front of and behind my thermal...
I currently have the AGM StingIR 640. It’s my first and only thermal. I use it handheld about 90% of the time, and then as a clip-on 10% of the time. I have the AGM/ADM flip to side mount that allows me to go from day optic to clip-on ready in no time at all. It’s a good solution.
I find that...
I searched but couldn’t find the spec anywhere. What is the screen size for the Telos XP50? Not asking for the resolution, but the physical dimensions of the screen.
I’m mainly asking just because putting it on the rail at night while it’s dark doesn’t give me a high degree of confidence that it’s always going in the same spot each time. I’m not talking about moving it 10 rails slots up the rail or anything.
Half of the draw to the StingIR (and RH25 for...
