    I'm out of the office for a week or so but I can look at downrange stability vs. other bullets when I get back but from what I remember a 12 twist was fine and actually the calculated stability held on longer with the VT than with the 176 ATip.     Not annealing, probably 5-7 before you get neck splits. With an annealing schedule (every 3 firings) you can usually get 15-25 depending on how you size the brass. Failure mode then is case head separation.

    Fastest temp stable powder

    StaBall Match, H4895, Varget, XBR8208 ETA: 27.5-28.0gr of Varget has worked in 8 different 6mm ARC bolt-gun barrels now. Back off to 27gr if you're running a gasser. You will lose 100fps over the ball powders (CFE223, LVR, etc.) but it's a very stable load.
