    17 Mach2 Available Again

Mine is also the CZ 452 American. Definitely a squirrel shooter. I got the Marlin when I couldn't find the Ruger 77/17 in a heavy barrel.

    Need a new bench rest

I also recommend the Bald Eagle BE1130 - Plain Rest Slingshot Cast Iron for the dollar. $165 from bullets.com. Hard to beat for the dollar. Very heavy and stable for shooting.

    17 Mach2 Available Again

I also have the CZ and the Marlin heavy barrel HM2. Both are great for squirrel. I use the Eley ammo. Bought a lot when it was less expensive. Enjoy a great caliber.

I have the Zen Ray and use the Vortex 30x mil eyepiece. It works fine. Good luck.

M5 BM - Badger vs. PTG

I have three of the PTG bottom metals and have never had a failure. Two of them are mounted in McMillan stocks and 1 in a Bell and Carlson. The only difference I can tell is the shape of the trigger guard and the cost. I just received a new Grayboe stock for a current build and will stick...

Rifle Scopes NSX turret set screw size

That's fine if you aren't talking about the 4 set screws on the clutch face. I would not recommend removing the clutch face. If its the elevation turret, then you would be fine.

Rifle Scopes NSX turret set screw size

I don't know the size, but I would recommend calling Nightforce to get the exact size. I've had to call Nightforce for another reason and they reacted quickly. Good luck.

    Alamo precision Rifles

I also dealt with them on a Grayboe Renegade stock and they custom duracoated a sponge desert camo. Easy to deal with and was shipped quickly.

    PTG Blueprinted Action Combo $399

I just received mine last week. It took 8 weeks and it looks exactly like the pictures from spife7980. I also paid extra for the fluting. Good luck.

    So I have two rifles....

Good job on deciding to keep both. I will 2nd the Grayboe stock option. They make a great hunting version or a tactical option with the A5 look.

Caliber selection based on barrel longevity?

I currently shoot a 223, 6.5 creedmoor, and a 308 at 1000 yds. I'm in the process of building a 6mm creedmoor. I really like the 77 and 80 gr bullets in the 223 at 1000 yds. Looking forward to seeing how the 6mm creedmoor stacks up.

That is correct. They have boards set up at various distances for paper, but all steel is in you.

Definitely a great range to shoot long range. I've been shooting their for three years and it is well worth the membership cost. I just wanted to add that when I renewed last year, I was required to have an NRA membership. Went on the website and don't read anything it this year, but thought...

    Rifle Scopes what's your zero?

Same same. 100 yds for all centerfires. Tried using 300 on a couple of rifles and it just became more complicated in the long run.

    Cz or 10/22

I would say the CZ has a better chance of being accurate than the 10/22, but the 10/22 has so many options to make it accurate and fun to shoot.
