    30-06 any love anymore?

    My first hunting rifle was my dads 30-06. He started me out with 125 spire point handloads. Perfect for deer, and light enough recoil skinny 12 year old to handle. Offers some good versatility in capabilities depending on shooters needs, especially with modern bullets.

    You may have newer info than I do - I apologize if I spread old info. When I was deciding on mod 1 vs mod 2 three months ago the bolts carriers were slightly different according to pws. Standarding is a good improvement.
