    ECCO converted my 762SD. 100% satisfied. Which QD to convert to that’s very much subject to personal opinion. Pick what you want and run with it.

    I would not weld it. 3 tacks 120* apart would be sufficient to hold it. I have a 726SD which ECCO converted to HUB mount for me. IMHO well worth saving up to have it serviced. Keep in mind you call sell your 51T mount to help recover some money.

    Yes both the FN and Win M70 require machining. It’s very minimal and can be easily accomplished on a manual mill.

    And Red high strength Loctite is required not optional if you plan to actually shoot it much. I would assemble everything, verify you can properly zero as windage adjustment is a big issue when mounting these. I have had several receivers that were out of spec along the left side interface...

    That scope would be 1” correct? Badger choices would be 306-12 with any 30 mm ring set. 306-24 USMC M40A3 Or 306-39 USMC M82A2 which would be way higher than what you would need.
