Re: Aimpoint on bolt gun? I would think a secondary optic might weigh a little less. If you are using an quad/ATV or driving around in your vehicle then yes... Walking around with firearms dripping off you (resembling John Rambo) is not very practical.- Tshakabika

HOWEVER mounting the secondary (non magnified) optic on top of your primary will undoubtedly force you into an uncomfortable cheek weld when (on the very odd occasion) that it is actually utilized. If you run a picatinny rail on you...- Tshakabika
