LMT MWS – Ejected Cases With Cut Marks
Adjustable gas blocks won't work as MWS gas ports are drilled at an angle. This is what i did to fix overgassing on my 308 barrel. Remove the gas block (you may need to apply some heat), then drill and tap it for a long grub screw. Now it's adjustable, problem solved.- FF05

LMT .308 MWS
Gave my LMT MWS 308 a full strip and clean today. I checked out the LMT site for the usual consumable spart parts. Mine is an earler model and has a one piece gas ring. LMT only lists; 308 inner gas ring, 308 outer gas ring? Has the gas ring design changed?- FF05

LMT .308 MWS
Picked up this LMT MWS 308 with 20' CL barrel today (minus the suppressor, not allowed in my State). It will be a while before i get hands on, licensing, ect. in this country just got a whole lot slower with COVID19.- FF05

Robinson Armament XCR-M...what am I missing?
I had one of the earlier ones (serial number below 1000) and it was a lemon from hell. Wouldn't hold 2" @ 100m and would continuously jam with hunting ammo (SP, HP, etc). Got rid of it ASAP and haven't looked back. I did like the left side charging, ergonomics, and wieght. Apparently the...- FF05

Gunsmithing Cerakote color match - "Classic" AI Green
Many years ago I sent the plastic handgaurd piece off my AX to the Cerakote dealer here. They returned it with a swatch that matched 100%. I believe the colour was called 'Foliage Green'. I just checked, the Cerakote website doesn't list this colour anymore. Only way to be certain it to send in...- FF05
