    6.5 Creedmoor

So most reloading data from a manufacturer is going to be conservative for legal reasons. Hodgdon's listed max 40.0gr load is also listed 59.2K PSI, or about 3K less than max SAAMI pressure (and many people will go over that by a bit and still not see pressure). As long as you aren't seeing...

You're probably more correct than I am on this man. I avoid CF barrels period.

I'm guessing that it is because of a probable balance issue, along with the higher potential for POI walk as you heat things up under a longer string of fire. Not that you can't, and I know that a couple guys run those with great success in order to make various weight classes... but I think...

    which 6 to choose?

The GT is my pick for balance of performance vs longevity. If 98% of your shooting is going to be at paper/steel, the GT is a good choice. If hunting is definitely on the table more than once or twice, I'd go CM. It'll give you less drop and drift by a tenth or two out to 350, and smaller...

6Mm GT load. Any help appreciated.

We're side-tracking, so my apologies to the OP. I'm actually at 1K even right now... although I do a decent cleaning at every 100 rounds, and clean to bare metal every 200 (to include the carbon ring). Still no issues yet *IF* it is even a .236 bore. I probably won't even play with that...

Yes, very hard to be/do both. And if so, chances are neither are true.

6Mm GT load. Any help appreciated.

I didn't have any luck with accuracy going higher. I just edited my post. I tried the 108 ELD and 107 SMK... but I had such good luck with the 105 that I stayed with that bullet for this barrel. I actually have 500 of the 109s still, and was going to give those a try... but with the 105s I'd...

6Mm GT load. Any help appreciated.

I went up to 37.6g under a 108 ELD, before hitting pressure. Best accuracy was around 37.0, but best accuracy for my 105 Hybrid is 36.8...so it is the velocity window for this particular barrel. My barrel liked the 105s so much I gave up on everything else. 37.0 put me at 2,938 for a 27"...

The internet has me jaded. I read into that "nun-cuck" of yours and assumed you were going to link a video of some porn crap... I laughed myself to tears to that ^ video ^ back in about 2009. Probably watched it 20 times in a row.

    The Trap is Sprung

Been enjoying these last couple of posts @Dead Eye Dick My grandfather served on the USS Melvin (DD-680) 1944-45. He ended up participating in just about every island-hopping campaign, as well as Leyte Gulf and the Surigao Strait, where the USS Melvin was one of the ships that hit the mighty...

Different optic and even mount would be my first test as well. Best of luck.

I actually started making videos of myself shooting so I could critique my own skills (nunchuk skills, bowstaff skills etc...). Not having anyone around makes it amazingly easy to start degrading my own fundamentals. Sure enough, I don't like my trigger manipulation a lot of the time. The...

    Fake Nightforces ?

Going to have to start paying attention and asking more questions here to the "my Nightforce isn't tracking" posts etc... That sucks, but caveat emptor when you find a 'hell of a deal'. In the era of the internet, everyone knows what they have and want top dollar. Exceptions should be...

My 7-300 PRC Project *Updated With a Couple Kills*

First blood. Approximately a 120 - 140lb sow. (Pig looks bigger due to perspective here) I'd like to say this sow was 600+ yards away, but the truth is she was only about 175. I went center-shoulder hold on a quartering-to shot, simply because I didn't know what to expect, and shooting her...

Rifle Scopes Tract Toric ELR vs Burris XTR IIIi NOW With some Burris Pro and now some Zeiss LRP S3 also!

Believe it or not man, my old US XTR III is more tactile than my Pro. It is actually more tactile than my LRP S3 too though :D . ***** I am assuming (I can be very wrong, so somebody feel free to correct me on this), that the Element Theos and Zeiss LRP S3 are made in the same place...
