Re: Night Hunting setup

This is far from gunsmithing. this is more of just me being bored and wanting a better stock for my T3 and not having the money to actually buy one
This started with me just wanting a raised comb after adding a 20 moa base and throwing on a Zeiss conquest.
it was a longer process then i...

Word to the wise if you get the g5 make sure you don't get the practice set like I did. can't tell you how stupid i felt and how mad i was when i was...

I recently inherited a texas rangers bowie knife it appears to be quite nice its mostly acid etched it has portraits of bigot wallace captain john r Hughes and Colt Walker. The stumper is i don't know the manufacturer

okay so last night i ordered a Zeiss Conquest 6.5 x20 x50. I plan on putting it on tikka t3 270. as of now i have brought it out to 700 yards but thats a lot of penny turning on my leupy seeing as thought it doesnt have turrets. Now my question is will this scope have enough travel to hold a 100...
looking to buy a new scope for my rifle. i currently have a leupold 4.5 x14 x40 but i would like more magnification and going up 62 clicks for a 700 yard shot it a hell of a pain without target turrets. I was looking at a zeiss 6,5 x 20 x 50. I have not seen many people using them for long...
ok i am interested in putting a break on my 300 wby. my concern is the noise level. I have a rock river arms Elite Comp. and that thing is so much louder than other AR15 rifles i have heard.
Will that be magnified in a 300 wby. This is what interests me about the Vais. Can you not shoot...
Im going to bass pro shops tomorrow. I am new to reloading and I am going to be reloading for both 270 win and 300 Wby. what would be the best that could do both?
I am working on developing a load for long range target and hunting in my tikka 270. I like the idea of a Barnes TSX as a hunting bullet. but how does it perform long range the BC of .431 seems okay on the other hand the sst has .460 in the same weight class. I have had an sst fail on me in the...
As the subject says i am finally giving in and looking to start reloading. I have most of the equimpent already. what i lack is knowledge and experience. Is there a class you can take that would teach relaoding? possible near Dallas... Or are there other options?
Thanks in advance
