    Major difference is the Military is made in Germany. Supposedly the same glass, with conflicting reports. Doesn’t necessarily equate to same performance wise. Some like the T-series turrets better than the M-series. I actually like the M turrets and the second rev curtain is a nice feature...

    If blocking the left eye improves the vision, he would be right eye dominant, correct? Sounds to me like you need to adjust your position and eye relief a bit.

    Makes it much easier to adjust the mag ring with speed, if that’s what you’re after? Personally, I like the ones made by Aadland (Aadmount) or you can buy a generic cheaper version from MK machining. There are other manufactures too of course, to include one from S&B themselves.

    Just an FYI, I’m using an RRS 1.26” 0 MOA Mount with plenty of clearance. 34mm tube 56mm objective w/ Aadmount caps.

    Yes, it works good if you have a mount with plenty of clearance between the base and scope. Feeler gauges do the exact same thing, just a bit more involved getting the correct “stack”. However, it works better for tighter clearances.

    She needs to qualify with iron sights first, learn the basics, then learn the ACOG. ACOG is pretty fool proof. Learn the fundamentals first, get her trigger control on par and breathing down, and everything else will fall in place.
