    Apparent over pressure from mild load

    This happened to me before. It turned out my custom barrel didn't have a throat. I was getting over 2900 fps with 130 bergers out of a 6.5x47 L. The velocity kept increasing as the barrel fouled and I had horrible copper fouling.

    Take a look at Ilya Koshkin's, (aka Dark Lord of Optics) reviews. The glass from all the top brands like ZCO and Zeiss will be pretty similar. Pick the one with the reticle you prefer. None of the other features will make much of a difference. Unless you need the extra 5 mils of elevation...

    Mine are on the left side of a right bolt/right port action. I've always put the clamp screws on that side, but the C1 Max clamp and screws are very low profile. What side is yours on?

    Thanks guys, I'll order the zeiss caps. @secondofangle2 I have both MKM and Aadmount caps. In my opinion the Aadmounts are better. They seem more solid and don't flop around in the wind like the MKMs do.

    I want some for my S5 and I'm wondering they're high quality. Aadmount aren't much more expensive, should I try and get those instead? The aadmount aren't listed on the website yet, but maybe if I give the owner some measurements, he will make them.
