    SOLD FUSION NODs! Jerry-F w/ High-FOM L3 WP Tube $6,500!

Whose MIL do we have to shoot to get the Jerry? I’m open to negotiation.

    cadex chassis fluke

There’s something odd going on here. You said this happened when you were tightening the screw with “barely any pressure.” Yet after it broke off, the screw appears to be so badly stuck in the chassis that you can’t even get it to twist out with pliers. One of those statements has to be false.

Running same Scope on all rifles?

I get the argument for this but it’s not worth it to me. I want a ZCO, TT, or ATACR on my ELR guns and I don’t want or need those on my 6.5 Grendel AR or my squirrel .22.

Spotters Anyone Use Quick Detach Adapters for Their Spotters On Their Tripods?

I have Arca rails on all my spotters/binos and RRS or Leofoto quick-clamp mounts for them on all my tripods and even my hunting monopod.

    Envision MARS-M and M/C

Geissele makes it but I don’t know if they sell it to the public. I think it’s made on the Geissele Defense side. Edit: honestly it’s probably easier to just mount it on a side rail and turn the display than to use that chonky thing.

Night Vision Wilcox Raid mrf Xe info

Problem is I keep my Raptar on a different gun that has a ClipIR-ELR. I’d have to buy a Voodoo-M for that gun which I don’t wanna do. Hopefully they make an MRF cable at some point. 😭

I think they have a Raptar S cable

Night Vision Wilcox Raid mrf Xe info

I know this is an old thread but has anyone heard of there being a Voodoo to MRF IBeam cable yet? My Mk12 is hankering for a disturbed reticle.

    Night Vision Excelitas Thermal Optics!

DRS has done exactly that. They have a fusion clip-on with a 10um 640x480 FPA and the objective is pretty small. Unfortunately the NV channel is digital rather than real I2 but size-wise the unit is quite compact.

It looks a fair bit bigger than the Tig, I’d like to see pics of them side by side. You’re right though, otherwise it seems like an upgraded Tig (8° FOV, adjustable focus, FLIR Boson core, etc).

What's your sleep set up ?

To a lot of quilt users that’s a feature, not a bug. I get too hot in sleeping bags and it’s nice to be able to stick a leg out to cool down.

What's your sleep set up ?

Ultralight Sea to Summit rectangular sleeping pad Feathered Friends sleeping bag that turns into a rectangular quilt (I prefer a quilt unless it’s pretty cold) TarpTent Stratospire Lithium 2-person tent. It’s awesome but pricey. Dyneema composite, lighter than most 1-man tents but big enough...

@SkyScrapin any chance you can tell us more about their Saker clip-on? That thing looks stinkin’ cool.

    Night Vision Excelitas Thermal Optics!

It takes 16mm tubes and only Photonis makes those currently, so no L3 tubes sadly. And the fixed focus is a tough sell IMO, though I get it’s aimed at dismounted infantry with carbines. One day someone will make a fusion clip-on like you describe. One day. The trick is that it has to have a...

    Envision MARS-M and M/C

No, I didn’t conflate them. I acknowledged that you were technically correct. But then I pointed out that that doesn’t matter. The fact is every 1550nm laser on the market significantly outperforms every 900nm laser on the market for reasons of power, beam divergence, superior processing...

    Envision MARS-M and M/C

Uh yes it is. Like, sure, you could theoretically make a 905nm LRF with the same power as a 1550nm LRF, but no one does that because it would be illegal to sell to civilians, dangerous to troops, and visible to near-peer adversaries. The whole reason 1550nm LRFs exist is that the wavelength...

    Best flow through suppressor

It’s a little hard to get excited about their direct competitors claiming their cans are no good for hard use lol. That being said, CAT has been very open that the Ti cans are not for hard full auto use or whatever, they are for LE/HD type use where weight and maneuverability are paramount and...

TRG appreciation thread - Part III

I think he was asking about the action/chassis lifespan, given the reference to AIs that are on their 20th barrel. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone wearing out any high-end rifle action.
