Specwar Trifecta flash hider problem
Stick something through the ports (I use an old aluminum car antenna, being that it's softer than the steel). A decent quality wooden dowel would work too.- Rstrick0352

Started life as a Savage model 10pc. Glass is a loaner and not bad at that. I found its limitation though at the last Woody's match when the mirage combined with dark targets and a dark background on the rooftop stage. Completely lost them. How long ago was that barrel made? As far as I can tell, ever AR BLK barrel now runs a pistol length gas system for just that reason. Hate it for you that you're experiencing that.- Rstrick0352

Regardless of what size drill bit the assembler had the time the gun was put together, quality barrels have made it to the public with an undersized gas port. It's happened to me and it has happened to others. Most likely that barrel came from some contracted company that KAC May or may not have...- Rstrick0352

Doing just the gas block won't help. Normal non adjustable gas blocks are running wide open already. The problem sounds for all the world like the gas port size being too small. Drilling it out is very easy. Take it out to just smaller than the port in the adjustable GB you go with to allow for...- Rstrick0352

Drill out the gas port and put an adjustable gas block on it and gas it to where it needs to be for the conditions at the time. Arsenal democracy and slr make the best adjustable in my opinion. Bottom line, if you keep sending it back for an "under gassed" condition, they're just going to open...- Rstrick0352

Try bending the forward portion of the AI mags back a bit. Just enough to let the round start pushing up/forward a little sooner. Had to do it with my .308 to get the feeding right with my 10pc barreled action in a mcrees chassis.- Rstrick0352

That has to be close. I use a 6mil hold at 600yds with their 75gr otm ammo which comes out to 2,500fps. Great shooting ammo too for the price.- Rstrick0352

Who makes the best AR 15 BCG?
Rainier sells their MPI/HPT BCG's for reasonable prices. They have the crane spring and O -ring as we'll. I have one in my AR pistol and the finish is holding up well. Got all the big ticket items I look for in a BCG at prices that beat everyone else's...- Rstrick0352
