@Jackomason Actually the aluminum "spine runs full length from the forend to the butt of the stock" Think of it as a full tang fixed blade knife. I think this is one of the reasons it feels so rigid.

I am running a 6.5x55 AI and am very impressed with the results 147s @ 2940. Additionally it runs well on H4831sc (a commonly available powder) and quality brass is cheap and easy to come by. Lastly the PPU factory match shoots .75 moa in my rifle.
