    I still have (2) k624i scopes. I have never had any issues with them. The center fire comp guns have gone to ZCO while the 308 gasser and .223 bolt gun now wear the Kahles.

    I do have a Mausingfield that my 300 Norma is built on. I guess I agree with going with a different action, larger tenon.
