    nfoley, just to save Frank the response; yes, and yes. You should do it with any rangefinder. The laser is rarely perfectly colocated with the reticle. My Sig, for instance, prefers the bottom third of the reticle.

    I use an Outdoorsman's. Well-made, as with all of their gear. Not cheap, as with all of their gear. It attaches with double-sided tape to your phone's case, but it's very secure. I use it in the backcountry, so it resides on a Lifeproof. I just swap out cases when I get off the mountain.
