New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
It's a WOA 18" SPR 1-8" rifle length.
I had that thought and have a few different types headed my way.
I'm used to bolt guns just shooting, so that's a fair assessment. I just thought the group shape changes were telling me something.
I'm having some real struggles with shooting groups. I'm slowly realizing that I just might be trash at shooting.
This is my first attempt at building and shooting a precision small frame AR. The plan was to get a barrel in and test it before sending it off to D.wilson to have it converted for...
It kinda sucks cause the SPR Barrel I just got shoots like crap. I'll work with it some more but I really don't want to have to deal with new ownership.
I could be wrong but I belive that's a completely different barrel. The one in this thread is a 416R rifle cut barrel and the one in the other thread is CHF.
It'd be sad to see that happen, but it also seems like the market is saturated with companies making decent SPR barrels.
If mine doesn't shoot I'll probably order a Geisselle.
Has anyone shot theirs yet?
Is White Oak still king of the value SPR barrels? Seems like everyone and their cousin is making an SPR barrel and everyone says theirs is the best. SOLGW comes to mind.
I'll be ordering one in the next month and sending it off to D.wilson to convert it for the LMT.
What are you guys doing at 3x that needs a usable reticle? Like, are you just struggling to see it and put the center on a target/animal? Or are you trying to hold or measure?
I picked up the Atacr 4-16 (because of this thread) and used it on a hunt this last year. Got it zeroed, trued to 500...
I'll probably get one of these, my only gripe is that it doesn't appear to be able to take any kind of Arca in front of the mag well. They were able to pull it off with the ESS but I'm not sure what they could do here.
I'm not going to lie, I love watching PSA release videos. I can see why so many don't mind being PSA beta testers. Although, I don't have much PSA stuff (I think just a lower).
Here's a little LMT/D.Wilson fun for the day.
I just got the Arca rail in and I'm very impressed. The cut outs for the M-lok screws are a little sharp but it's a lot less bulky and much more comfortable than the alternative. It also let's you run your bipod all the way out (using the RRS clamp).
