    For me going illuminated on the mk5 pushes it into a higher price than I wanted to pay. The non illuminated mk5 is one the best value in higher end optics out there. IMO

    I’ve not shot the H59. I’ve spent a lot of time behind the tremor2/3 and like the CCH better. It is more open at magnification but thick enough to use at lower power.

    KRG Whiskey 3 or Magpul 700 Pro chassis?

    I’ve handled several of the magpul pro chassis’s. The are really nice, I’d pick it over the KRG. The folding stock is well worth the $.

    I can’t speak to a side by side. I have a MK 5 headed to me this week. To me the only difference is the low end field of view. So not worth the coin to me.

    I like the tremor 2/3 and have used them for years. However I ordered my MK with the CCH. It is a finer reticle than the Horus reticle.

    New from Knoxville, TN

    Welcome. There are some good people in the Knoxville area. 1000y range at ORSA. Ballisticraft.com is local and he teaches some precision rifle classes for Magpul. He might be a good starting place. Also Bugholes.com is only 1.5 hours West. They make some great rifles and barrels.
