Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

I and some of my friends have ES tactical barrels they shoot fine but the wait is crazy. Another reputable maker in the mix can't hurt us users. Competition is the American way.

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

I am working with a barrel supplier to provide caliber swaps for the SRS. I don't have a HTI so can't be the guinea pig for that. I supplied the extension, extension wrench and specs. I sent him my bolt and next month I will have a Bartlein 1:8 300 PRC with only a 4 month wait. I will post...

I'd be interested in a short rail for the A1, and an AL picatinny the same length as the DT polymer rail.

    Bulletseeker Mach 4 doppler chrono

yes 50 BMG, I had a devil of a time getting a reading at all.

    Bulletseeker Mach 4 doppler chrono

The angle/bevel is the difference, I am even getting readings on the 50 now.

    Bulletseeker Mach 4 doppler chrono

I tried the 50 BMG with the new angle mount.. no love! I brought my MagnetoSpeed and didn't want to mess around. My friend has a 416 Barrett, previously he was unable to get a reading on it, and he logged every shot.

    Bulletseeker Mach 4 doppler chrono

I took mine out today and used the 3d printed angle adapter. I did not drop one shot 338 LM and 6.5 Creedmoor. I was at about 90% capture rate previously. I think angling it toward the barrel is a good find. I'll try the 50 probably Friday.

    Bullet seeker

It does not work for me and a buddy with large projectiles (50 BMG, 416 Barret).

    Bulletseeker Mach 4 doppler chrono

Mine has been giving me fits with a 50 BMG, I moved this thing all over the place, close to the muzzle, right below the exit hole in the brake, 1/2 back to the stock, back to the stock, just behind the brake, all with and without the parabolic attachment. I even tried it on a modified MK...

Giraud Power Trimmer vs Henderson Precision Powered Trimmer

I finally bought a Giraud. I then removed the cutter and left the shaft in a no longer needed (since I bought a Giraud) WFT and stuffed it with bronze wool. I chucked the stuffed WFT in a Trim-it motor. After I trim a case i stick it in the spinning bronze wool for a second or so and get a...

    Ultimate long range soft case

I need a 62' case and dang if I can find one, so I would be happy if you size it for long barrels. I am currently using a snow board bag.

Question for those more knowledgable than I in DT. Is it possible to get a blank HTI bolt and then have it machined to handle a .338 Lapua so a .338 or Tubbs XC can be used with a HTI.

    Magnetospeed + MK Machine improvements

Would you add more pic I use that mount too. I can't picture your big rod mod. I put some thin steel rod (TIG welding rod) inside the square aluminum extruded sections so it sticks to the bayonet when adjusting for bullet clearance. Had it out last weekend on my .338 every shot would blow the...

MK Machining - Terrible Customer Service

I have dealt with MK a few times, always fair and straight up. Not a nut hugger just a guy who is happy to find a business that understands customer service

    Truing a ballastic app

There is some great info in this thread, and it is very timely too. Timely because I am currently in the process of tuning my load for min standard deviation, and lowest extreme spread. I also posted so I could easily find this thread and re-review the contents.
