Honestly that sounds more like a Gen 1. can you post a picture? I've not seen/heard of this so I'd appreciate seeing it, please call 316.721.3222 and get RMA. We'll reimburse you for postage. In fact we'll refund your money if you bought it from us.- Kasey

Sorry for slow reply here and Thank you for your business. Another member posted - "I also tightened down the pre load nut just a smidge. " which is correct solution, simply remove Podloc and tiughten nut to preload tension desired. then put Podloc back on.- Kasey

LOL! The fact I looked twice is real impressive!!! Well, thanks for getting me squared away on that. The 5-H will resemble the V8 and PSR regarding the rigidity, the CAL is the most rigid bipod we make to date.- Kasey

Where did you find this post from pewpewfever? I don't see it in this thread. The CAL is the most ridgid Atlas bipod made and I would recomend it for bench and square range shooting.- Kasey

Second, Harris makes a great bipod, Not intending to offend you, but, not knowing what makes the Harris "suck" in your opinion might actually be your positioning/method/style of shooting that will result in same experience no matter what...- Kasey

Elite Iron bipods?
LOL, a couple of things, "everyone" suggests everybody that shoots a rifle, and that means there is not a piece of gear made that 100% of rifle shooters will agree on! Getting 50% on the same side is an accvomplishment that should be recognized with a national holiday! Regarding the Elite...- Kasey

We've been pushing our metal finisher on parts which usually means more rerjects/blemished parts so I'd think some CAL's would be showing up. We did "blemish" some bipods this past weekend...- Kasey

Thanks for your patronage! Just want to let you know the "stupid atlas" has a brother called "CAL" Atlas that is a Cant only bipod that uses a KMW Pod-lok to tension the Cant to where it does not move freely or even move under average pressure but will yield to stupid amount of pressure.....- Kasey

Keymod compatible pic rail recs for Atlas
Ruger makes a great rifle and I love my 1st Gen Ruger Precision, but the hand gaurd is weak, mine failed when using the supplied rail to attach an Atlas. Again, it is a first gen so maybe they changed the hand gaurd. My solution, A bit ghetto but took a 3" piece of steel 3/16 x 1/2 flat...- Kasey

Bipod Options
The Atlas has gone through several revisions early "V7" models were actually a pull leg design as is seen on Sako bipods. Early V8's have more tolerance, play, slop than ciurrent versions and the PSR models are also a "tighter" design comparted to the V8. The newer CAL eliminates the Pan or...- Kasey
