My Distressed Terminus Zeus Build is a GO !

Saw a Matterhorn in person for the first time a few weekends ago. Was very impressed. Something about that dark gray and walnut blend. Seemed like less tool and more art. Was thinking of doing something similar but going with a 6 BR variant. Interested to see what performance you get out of...

    Favorite Trainer Round

Agree with @Lightning8, its nice to just throw charges quickly with a 223 using quality bullets costing nearly half the price. I shoot so much more now because of this.

Vortex RazorHD Gen III 6-36x56 vs NF ATACR 7-35x56

Highly recommend the Area 419 mount over rings, but if you go with rings, can’t go wrong with Seekins. They are the best value in quality rings I feel.

    .223 - 5.56

Starline 5.56 brass, 26.0 StaBALL Match, Rem 7 1/2, and 80 ELDM’s have been very accurate in my 18” Bartlein. 2.500 OAL. Going just over 2800, it has worked well out to 860 yards so far. 2800-2850 should be easy for you with a 20” barrel.

Awesome suppressor muzzle brake front end attachment by Recoilx

So when I tighten my jam nut, I still torque on the brake itself to get it really tight. Much easier to grasp. Hasn’t loosened yet. Agree that wrench flats would be nice a touch.

Precision Rifle Gear MDT ACC Elite Full Length Bridge EOI

Arrived today. Thanks @Hennig for making these. Got the colors all figured out now, haha. I still get excited when building a new rifle.

Awesome suppressor muzzle brake front end attachment by Recoilx

I haven’t had that issue but I am using a Precision Underground cover.

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

200+ grainers for subs is optimal. But if you want gallery rounds, load up some 125’s with a small amount of Titegroup.

    I Spy New Baby Razor G3 4-24

Awesome if it comes in around or under two pounds. What’s the going rate to cerakote a scope? Asking for a friend.

    .223 - 5.56

Just finished up an old jug of powder for my 223 bolt gun that I bought years ago and then put away and didn’t use for a long time after I sold my last AR. Was shocked to see what I paid for it. Primers were around 2 or 3 cents each at the time if I remember correctly.

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

Yeah I have read that Varget is a bit slower in a 223 than some other good powders so that’s probably most of it. Is your Tikka barrel factory? I am at 2755 with Varget with the 75’s and 2721 with the 80 ELDMS. Not sure how close that is to your velocities.

Can't get comfortable on my ranges shooting tables...

That’s why I enjoy it so much. It’s more challenging than shooting prone or off a bench.

    Armageddon Gear shipping???

Cole-Tac is good stuff. So is Precision Underground.

Can't get comfortable on my ranges shooting tables...

Maybe I should have said ditch the table, not the seat. I use a 5 gallon bucket to sit on a lot of times when casually shooting off the tripod. Very comfortable and it feels like cheating sometimes because the tripod is so adaptable to any terrain.

Can't get comfortable on my ranges shooting tables...

I know what you mean. It took me several years to come to grips with the prices of good ones. But I am so glad I bit the bullet and got one. Just like getting my first can, it was a paradigm shift in my shooting.

Ditch the seat and buy a tripod!

Suppressors .30 or .22: Best First Suppressor?

Agreed. I shoot my centerfires 10x more than my rimfire. Also got an Ultra 7 as my first can.

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

Thanks man, it’s an 18” Bartlein M24 contour that SPR spun up for me. It’s heavy at 18 pounds but it feels like a 22 recoil wise. I have used a little Varget, 2230-C, Benchmark, N140, and 748 but settled on StaBALL Match for the convenience of ball and consistency of stick powder. Running both...
