New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I'm not really seeing a difference between the AXSR and AXSR MIL. Only thing I see is that MIL model has more options for barrel lengths and has an mlok forearm option.
Wow. Sweet rifle but no thanks. I'm going to see what happens with the future of the AT. If they really are gone and start selling for crazy prices I'll just build something. I'm not looking to buy quite yet anyways so I'll see how this plays out.
They definitely dropped the ball on that. I could see getting the AXMC at the price you did. Now when a folder AT is $5200 and the AXSR is 11k...hard pill to swallow. Frankly I think the AXMC is a bit better looking than the AXSR as well.
It's hard for me to justify any model besides an AT. I can build a custom with whatever parts I want for a lot less. An AXMC would be a fantastic rifle to have in 300 norma.
They definitely rely heavily on their pedigree to continue selling rifles. Seems their support to civilians leaves a lot to be desired along with spare part availability. With the current prices it's hard to justify purchasing one. I don't own any AI but recently I've been looking at the AT's...
Any quality differences between the guns made fully overseas vs here? Looks like all the actions are definitely UK made. Do they machine any of the chassis stateside?
So which guns are considered US models? I thought everything was from the UK. Are you saying that just the rifles sold for the US market are bartlein barrels with everything else being from the UK?
Thats perfect! So who's making the barrels for AI now? I've heard bartlein is making the oem barrels but if you go on mile high I see they offer what they call a factory barrel and then specifically a bartlein. Is it just marketing? I've also heard Lothar walther thrown around.
