    If you want to stay in that sub 10lb lightweight I would go with a Bartlein 3 contour in 26in barrel.... if it’s truly a hunting rifle you’ll never heat it up enough to cause accuracy shift.

    From my understanding the PH1 is a McMillan Game Scout. When they made the PH2 they started making the stocks in house. I have the PH1 and it’s a great stock. I wish the comb wasn’t so low but it’s meant to be a hunting rifle and not a bench gun.... you could also paint it OD green if you want...
