    I remember when Orkan loaded up a 338LM with pistol powder and let it go in a Desert Tech as a destruction/safety test. Made me feel comfortable sticking my head next to an explosion with that platform. I understand a 50cal is a different beast than 338LM, but this failure was a design failure.

    So was 20x good? Now imagine the target twice as small. I am one of the ones telling you go NF in the other threads. But this is so subjective. Some people are mag whores and throw a fit with a 10x max. Some shoot 600 yards with a 4x optic with ease.
