New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
After fiddling with 22lr Tactical in recent months (years??), I think the missing element in scope design is elevation. With 22lr being an ELR testbed I would love to have something that could give enough elevation to hit the target beyond 200m. That would throw open competitions and make 22lr...
I suspect the flat earth crew will come running with pitchforks and burning torches.
If there is an Xmas tree option then I can see a flexible piece of gear that will cross disciplines once people start playing. And if they can keep the weight low with rings (like other models) it will give NF...
Ahh, Internet wisdom. I do not know how we coped without it.
1. Parallax adjustment benefits from the larger focus ring (added extra) which improves leverage. (DEON should really make these standard)

I think that is coming in the 10 year time frame. The firearms market is waking up to the fact they are selling to a generation raised on Call of Duty and gear that seeks to replicate the video game experience appears to be a driver. "I want instant success and immediate feedback" - factors...
"... so maybe a better survey would be not "what scope brand do you use" but "why do you use this scope"?..."
Thank you wjm308 for your thoughtful comments. Price and sponsorship (in the US space) are also factors to consider. We dream of such things in the free world but remain gifted amateurs!
