    The bolt is probably a toolcraft bolt and they take the reduced diameter .065” firing pin. And yes you can use the bolt for .308.

    I’d order a high pressure bolt before starting any load work up. Trust me, you’ll be dealing with pierced primers and beat up brass with a standard bolt and high port pressure cartridges.     Why don’t you post pictures of your 10k$ worth of element theos and those 20 athlons, and the tract optics? You type a lot but post no pictures of all these scopes. How many rifles do you have? Better question, how many sets of Burris xtr rings do you have?

    Again you’re failing to see the point. I’d be willing to bet if it was anyone else they’d probably replace it with a gen 2. You wear people down with your relentlessness.     My wife had worked retail for years and she had memos next to clients names in her computer. Things like “bitch” “Not going to please them no matter what” “Wants something for nothing” You get the idea. I figure they probably know your number and email from frequent encounters.

    Dude! I get the feeling you might draw out some anger and impatience from manufacturers regarding their warranties. It could be just your approach and tone. Maybe have someone else call next time.

    The PRS lite only works with the carbine buffer system I believe.

    Even if it did protrude, the cartridge has to over come the extractor and the ejector spring to be seated deep enough in the bolt face for any FP engagement, that doesn’t happen until the cartridge is fully seated in the chamber and the bolt is rotated into battery.     Which KYN SHOT Buffer for AR10 and AR15?

    They’re designated for particular buffer tubes and for 308 and 223. I run them in all my ars with a tubbs flat wire spring which I highly recommend also.

    I’m guessing maybe debris on the bolt face and it shoved the case too deep in the leade and squeezed the case mouth. Or the case was just too long.
