    I appreciate the thorough answer and I decided that, while the 4-16x42 F1 is feature rich, my uses would be better served with a SFP. I picked up a NIB NXS 3.5-15x50 HS ZS for a good price.

    A couple days ago I had a chance to compare the two side by side and I think I’m gonna go with the ATACR. I’ll be putting it on a 22” 6.5CM bolt rifle. On the used market, they’re only a few hundred more than the NXS.
