New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
They’re 60gr Varmaggeddon and yes any really for that matter. I’ve used 60gr Vmax to the same effect. I’ve had the best luck with 69gr Sierra’s both tipped and non tipped and 68gr BTHP Hornady’s too. All shoot accurately and aren’t too fussy.
My favorite is a 64gr Tipped Gameking with 28.50gr...
I still have mine If you’re interested. It’s listed on eBay but I can just as easily pull it off and let you take it with the ARMS mount. There’s also this option. https://www.americanrifle.com/shop/mb-r-3033-28-m-brace-scope-rings-for-march-1-10x24-1768#attr=
PM me if anyone is interested...
It has a lot more pros than cons over most of the LPVO’s in my opinion. Keep in mind March also makes a 1-8 with capped with no parallax wheel and a similar reticle to the one on the 1-8 NX8 for your purpose as you stated.
I haven’t yet. I think the 85.5gr hybrids are really hard to beat.
88gr ELDM, 26.9gr PP2000MR, FC annealed, CCI450, 1.720” BtO - 2750 fps ES 18 SD 12.8
85.5gr LRHT, 27.4gr PP2000MR, FC annealed, CCI450, 1.820” BtO - 2786 fps ES 29 SD 13.6
There aren’t a lot of them going around. I have one and absolutely love it but I’ll be selling mine since there are other projects that need attention right now…but for the short while I had it up until this point (since February) it’s near perfect. 17.7 oz 1-10x scope that has illumination and...
Absolutely! The Mark 7 is hands down BETTER. I’ve toyed with the RL1100 with autodrive for more than 6 months and the Dillon is an outright POS automated. Very inconsistent, always prone to failures like major powder spills, too much flex in the shellplate, indexing issues, the primer feed arm...
You’d think but something tells me they think the PRS models will appeal to more. So far everyone is leaning towards a shorter handier version which makes sense to me that’s why I run it at the 16” length with a can. We already have a heavy PRS style rifle in the Ruger and some other options...
They’re gtg i wouldn't hesitate. I have a 224 Valkyrie, 6.5 Grendel, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 6mm GT from them in the taperless contours for a couple of BigHorn Origins. They require some break in but after that they shoot very well.
You can definitely have option 3…for now but in its current 16” configuration the 308 with 168gr tipped MkZ’s is safely pushing 2650 fps and staying supersonic passed 1,000y easily…but that’s not what I’m using it for. I don’t really see the mag release location being an issue unless you’ve got...
Ummm the cross barrels already have the tapered shoulder so you don’t need the adapter between the cherry bomb and muzzle…but yes it’s not the most efficient.
They’re nice stocks but require bedding so if you factor that in it can cost you anywhere from $700 to $1000 on a Krux. They’ve messed up several of my orders and shipped to an old address I used to live at even after providing the proper address. Anyways since I’ve had more time with it I’ll...
