New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Title has it all. I know a few guys have got their actions out or chassis apart.
Trying to remove the rear buttstock on an AT
What's it take to get this bonding agent to release?
Thanks
Thanks for the input fellas. I'll check with Neil Jones here in a few and see if he will work just off the reamer print.
If things don't pan out I'll give whidden a call. I like the sound of Neil's dies though. They sound very handy.
I am moving and such and having the barrels done now but...
The round will be a 30-338 Norma with a 33° shoulder for an axmc.
So I won't be doing any fancy benchrest stuff or anything.
It's pretty much a standard ptg 300 Norma improved but with a bit less body taper and a 33 degree shoulder.
The body taper allows fireform with either 300 Norma or 338...
Edited: nevermind I found his website. These were his full length dies you were describing?
These dies sound really nice. Do you have any more contact info?
These will be my first custom dies.
Got the reamer print. Reamer getting made.
What's the process you guys use to get the dies?
Who do you recommend?
Cost?
Bushing dies?
Etc etc. Fill me in. Thanks!
I mean, c'mon. The line thickness on the gen2xr is .025 it says.
Their center dot is 3 times as thick? Why???
Run a finer center dot and move the lines closer to it if you're worried about losing a .3 or .5.
Sigh... Well... Maybe in another 5 years kids.
I've still got the old model terrapin and kestrel so I'm a bit behind on the times.
Can someone explain this "A,B,C" ranging with the terrapin x and the kestrel for ranging and getting data on multiple targets?
Who's done it? Anyone yet?
There's a kit at eurooptic but I'd like a bit more info before undertaking this journey.
And I've got a fixed stock AT so it'll need some cutting and milling probably?
Fill me in...
