Hunting & Fishing Let’s start a coyote thread.

I had this gal run in and attack my turkey decoy yesterday while turkey hunting. She took a Boss Tom turkey load to the head on a run at 4 yards😂

New reloader - list of components

That’s a long way to drive to go shoot while doing load development… I would just say to stick to the basics because your going to spend a pile of money on gas driving to test out your loads. Unless money isn’t that big of a deal. I also really dig the Forster press, you don’t need shell...

New reloader - list of components

Lots of good advice here. I used to have all kinds of fancy gear for reloading and shooting matches. I sold almost all of it when I gave that game up. These days I keep it pretty simple. I use a Forster press, Forster dies, a 505 scale, Mitutoyo calipers and an RCBS manual trickler. It’s not...

They are super white looking on the green hillsides right now. They stick out like a sore thumb. I love this time of year!!!!

Hunting & Fishing Let’s start a coyote thread.

First time out in a month. I was able to punch the ticket on this gal. I was sitting quietly and glassing for about 10 minutes not calling. I felt a rumble in my stomach and let out a super loud FART, and out pops a coyote at 250 yards out trying to figure out what that noise was. That was her...

    Nightforce 5-25x56

Hello all I’m thinking about switching out my Nightforce Atacr 4-16x42 to a 5-25x56 for hunting. I’ve used the 4-16 for a bunch of years now and killed a pile of critters, but lately I’ve felt like I’d like to have a little more zoom. I know they aren’t very light, it doesn’t bother me though...

    Garmin xero is acting wonky

Mine has been working pretty good so far. I haven't used it since August. Today I decided to take a break on chasing coyotes and hit the range. 25 degrees and foggy so my groups didn’t look so good! But had some promising data. I was running low on 17 Remington pills so I loaded up 21 . the...

Hunting & Fishing Let’s start a coyote thread.

It’s a Harris 13.5 to 27” with an American Defense QD mount. It slaps right on the the front of my McMillan Mountain Tracker. It’s great most of the the time, but if I need more height I put the rifle on my tripod.
