    Burris XTR Pro 🇺🇸

Wow, that’s saying something for sure. That makes my smile even bigger because the 7-35 was on the short list of options I was looking at.

    Burris XTR Pro 🇺🇸

Might go send some rounds down range this weekend and try to get a video through the scope if weather cooperates. Have another match on the calendar for next weekend that should be fun.

    IDTS?

Mine is the same. It’s just a lens that I have stuck inside the cap that came with the pro. The gen 2 dfat HD is a thread on.

    IDTS?

I have the older universal lens with my IDTS. I like the looks of the dfat HD, just need to see if the XTR pro is possibly the same thread as a Steiner model.

    PRS Talk Comp range bag

Just dodged a major bullet. 😬 Totally forgot the disaster Botach can be and ordered a bag from them last week that was supposed to be in stock. Of course then all of you guys started with the good suggestions. My order was supposed to be in stock and of course it wasn’t, so I managed to get it...

Hunting scope options with mil reticles?

Check out the PX for a used Vortex AMG. Sounds like it would fit your needs nicely.

    Burris XTR Pro 🇺🇸

The illumination should turn pretty easy. Rotation is forward to increase brightness and hold at the end to swap colors.

    IDTS?

The last thing I would add to the training is a cheap count down timer so you have a good feeling of how long stages will be. I have one on my phone for working out that will count you down to begin and then start the regular timer. The IDTS is nice because it has a lot of targets that are nice...

    Sig Kilo 10k ABS

I really like the 10k but the price is a little more than I want to spend right now. Found a pair of 3k bnib for $850 that I’m thinking pretty hard about though.

    Scope Suggestions

What’s the application? I’ll throw the Burris XTR Pro out there. Glass is on par with the Kahles if not slightly better, SCR2 reticle is awesome, and goes to 30x if you need it. I can’t comment on low light performance yet but I did play with it just after sunset and in an indoor range with...

Build or Factory where to go next?

I’m currently running an origin and it’s doing good. I had an impact before and it was extremely nice as well. I’m running a jae700b chassis currently and it is nice since there in no exposed metal that you are holding onto. They are a little heavier and harder to find until MDT releases the new...

    PRS Talk Comp range bag

I’m really thinking about running down to Denver to their shop and checking them out. It’s hard to tell sizes from pictures sometimes, better in person. I don’t mind paying a little extra for something that is right and will last forever.

    PRS Talk Comp range bag

My lo-drag has been going strong for years now. I just don’t use the sleeve much these days.

    PRS Talk Comp range bag

That one does look nice as well. I’m trying to keep the size down to just what I need. I still have a bad habit of packing extra stuff if there is room. I might need my bench vise in the middle of a match, might as well bring it if I have room 🤣

    PRS Talk Comp range bag

That one doesn’t look bad at all. I can haul the tripod in the giant water bottle pockets and get a camera organizer for the inside. Plus their store is only about an hour from me.

    Burris XTR Pro 🇺🇸

As mentioned, I run around 16-20x most of the time and have no issues seeing the reticle or hash marks. I will also mention that I am 41 with good natural reading vision and had lasik about a year and a half ago.

    IDTS?

You know not of what you speak. It’s not like you are trying to shoot a 1” dot at 12 feet, the targets are super small and calibrated to be certain moa at that distance. See my pics posted above, that’s a 3moa tall prairie dog on 20x through a IDTS lens. If you wiggle any at all, you are off the...

Scope mounts with built in level?

I have a level on the M-Brace mount I’m using. Just threw the scope on and leveled everything together since it was a quick job the day before a match. I still have to set up a plumb Bob so I can re level the reticle to the fall of gravity when the rifle is shouldered at my natural point. I’ve...
