    Polishing dies?

    Just had the same issue with a Forster die and letting grit get inside causing the brass the scratch/gall. I took a 28 gauge bore mop and some Flitz and polished the interior of the die for a minute or so. The end result was a smoother die. I did my research before trying this and the consensus...

    How do you "Smooth out" the bolt of a bolt action?

    I have seen a new stainless rifle from Remington that did not have all the shavings removed from the factory. The shavings were in the anti-bind rail area causing it to hang up as well as being forward of the receiver lug area. Lots of brake cleaner and attention to detail removed the shavings.

    Will work just fine. I have a 95 Palma chamber and shooting 175s and 178s on a regular basis. I get 2650 fps with a 24" barrel.
