    WTB ~1.25" high 34mm rings or mounts

    Looking to pick up a set of rings or mount at around a 1.25" height for a 34mm scope. Would prefer an MPA mount, but am open to rings or mounts from other manufacturers.

    I use the hornady 4dof app and as long as you zero and put in wind values the trued dope is good for any wind really. Should be similar with any other calculator.

    Odds are you need to bend the front of the feed lips out to point the rounds into the chamber.

    7-6.5 PRC

    Makes sense. I'd say then try the 7-6.5 PRC. Shouldn't be hard to find a smith with a 6.5 PRC reamer and a a 7mm neck/throttling reamer to try the caliber without having to pay to get a custom reamer. Finding 6.5 PRC hornady brass should be way easier than the saum or SS brass.

    Anyone use a Redding T7 turret press so they don't have to keep changing dies?

    Anyone suggest swapping the die thread adapter with the Hornady LNL bushing adapter? I really like them and the 2-3 presses I use them on.

    NF probably thought they were gonna have a killer year after their wide usage and vortex came in to pick up a large number of new shooters looking to get into higher end glass and this kind of shooting. The used market is taking the hit though.

    I honestly look at the skmr3 and the ebr7c and I don't see that much difference. I think when you actually get on glass you won't think it is that busy.

    Sell price is relative to the price they get from Vortex. I know there are places that have them for less than that.

    Only making the statement because I don't think the market one the 2C has fallen to where it will end up also (think final price will end up in the 1600-1650 for the 2C and the used market will settle for the 7C where the current 2C is selling)

    3k with a 75 eld is something you can even get out of a 20" barrel.

    By the numbers you can get 3k from a 24” barrel without going over pressure with a 75-77 at the OAL that you can run in a aics pattern mag. Also we are talking about a 223 in a full sized action. The high node for my gun is like 3150 but it destroys primer pockets without any other pressure...

    The factory 75 ammo you are shooting is probably not going fast enough to be in a node. My gun likes the 75s in either the 2750-2800 or 2950-3000 ranges.

    My 223 varmint shoots the 75 ELD in the .1-.3 moa range repeatably. My barrel is in the 2950-3000 fps range with 8208 at 2.445" OAL.

    The PST Gen II has been really repeatable for me in the last year. Once I had known dope it has always been repeatable. Example: I took my 223 out to 1200 (~14mils) at K&M then dialed back to my 100 yard zero for the accushot stage and my zero didn't change at all from the pervious days check.
