Be careful with choosing a different brake. I tested MANY when we were developing the HTI and the blast angle on standard brakes is not going to make you happy.

Pearce. That is the sleeve stop. You have it upside down. You only want to thread it in enough to engage the sleeve on the bolt. You DO NOT want it to come in contact with the bolt body itself. Once you figure out the right depth, put a drop of blue loctite on there and you will be golden...
Didn't read the whole thread, but CCI primers are not what you want to be using for these large capacity rounds. Stick with Remington and Federal Magnums.
jdboy, you are absolutely right. Some of the earlier barrels were Krieger. I failed to mention that, I have a couple myself. I took for granted that he was talking about his x47. I can say with 100% certainty that there is not a single factory x47 that isn't a SS LW barrel. haha.
