    Gun case help

    Have used Pelican cases for years and they have never let me down. I've stopped using them for camera gear just because of the weight of the cases but the protection is great…especially on an aircraft.

    DMR Trainer

    I built an upper with a Beyer barrel and have been really happy with it. Shoots cheap CCI SV 0032's very well which is good since it's easy to shoot 2-300 rounds every time I head to the range.

    I have the BT21 for my TRG and IMO it works very well. The legs do fold back to around 45 degrees which does not limit my usage but does require a forward storage position.

    That was always my problem. To really put an edge on the blade you need to have the angle very precise. I never could until I purchased a system that had the rods to guide me.

    I have a Leupold that is not currently working. However, to be honest I never really found it to be reliable. Next time I'm going to spend enough to have a useful unit that will work in the real world.

    I would suggest the mark 6. I do not have any direct experience using the new scope but I have one on order. For me the smaller lighter weight package makes the scope unique in the leupold lineup. Also the locking turret on top w/ a covered windage is perfect for the TMR as I will dial in...

    I have a beeman R10 that I have used a lot over the years. Recently replaced a broken main spring and is currently shooting very well. Use it mainly for shooting in the basement (10m). For 1c a shot with no travel expense...hard to beat.

    Rifle Scopes Red dot backup on scope or rail?

    I was just wondering what people prefer when mounting a red dot sight for backup / close targets to assist a higher magnification optic. One option is to mount a 45 deg offset to the rail and the other is to use a scope tube adapter / ring adapter and mount the RD higher. What is your preference?

    I think it depends on the rifle size / weight and intended usage. It is a large heavy scope and would not be the best for a hunting rifle IMO.

    Rifle Scopes 300 AAC Blackout Reticle Choices

    I'm not too familiar with the reticles designed for the 300 BO but I would think a more flexible one like a tmr might be a better way to go. Something like the patrol 3-9 might work great for different loads (supper/sub sonic) where you memorize mil drops for different distances.
