    Ok so I compared those Omni 8 to an Omni 7 I bought for cheap here a few years back. This comparison is in dark light conditions, and is rather discouraging. The first pic is my Omni 7 and the Second is Omni 8 Rnvg. There has to be something wrong with them

    Thanks for this information. In your opinion would the mil spec mean the tube is at a minimum average or good standard? I hear there are many classifications of mil spec and some can be rather low.

    Your shots are very indicative of variable winds. Hence why I only shot groups for accuracy indoors or very low wind. Even if you wait out the wind where you are shooting, you might have a little bit of wind between you and the target

    jerry is 30 minutes from my house, but like you, I didn't want my scope tied up for who knows how long. follow those instructions, which are excellent, and once you get it figured it, you'll be able to take the turret on and back off fairly easily.
