Anyone think Tulsi about to “come out” as a Republican? Some of her latest statements are getting pretty close to the right. I know she was a representative from Hawaii. I lived there for four years that place is so far left it’s coming up in the east, so she had to be left to represent her...

No doubt, but seeing a sea service ribbon on top and a Purple Heart on bottom triggers my OCD.

What is good magnification range for range spotting scope?

I’m using a Celestron hummingbird 56ED and really like it for a compact scope

What is good magnification range for range spotting scope?

What is the purpose of the spotter? if you are shooting to 1000 and reading mirage then 25-27 is all you want. I don’t know of any high power shooters that run more. My current scopes run wide angle, long eye relief fixed eye pieces in that range. (I shoot F-TR not tactical matches) I used...

And I know what that is on it’s back. We were the test platform for the original on the USS Cavalla in the 80’s. If you don’t know I can’t tell you 😁 It isn’t a DSRV. And now we know pretty much everything there is to know about the torps they were testing. 😂 And then there is the whole...

I did a project at Anniston where I had to carry two respirators one that I wore for work and one that I carried in case the alarms went off next-door the incinerator. The good news is they were finished with the VX the bad news was they were burning mustard. Never needed the one on my hip.

To this day my wife still says she wants one of the tank crossing signs from APG. She saw them when we worked there about 15 yrs ago.

It would be a great option at less than half the cost of an Anschutz 1727 or 1827

If it turns out to be a good action drop it in a McM or a Manners or [insert chassis], put on the barrel you want and run it. Maybe at $1500ish it becomes the rock star of PRS factory division. 😱

I very much want this to be a good rifle. I've always wanted a straight pull but the $$ was just a bit too much.

    308 bullets too short

Your rifle just has a long freebore. If it shoots don't worry about it. When you re-barrel get a chamber cut for your bullet of choice

The 'heres a little known embarassing fact about me' thread

I was at San Diego waiting to get out of the USN in '87. I was an E-6 so I was one of the off shift the senior POs on the check-in desk at the transient barracks. Morning after my first night on rotation on mids (read zero sleep) one of the other first classes comes in first thing in the AM...

Hunting & Fishing What 308 bullet for whitetail.

If you shoot the 168s for target the 165SGK will probably shoot to the same POA loaded similarly. They did for me. I used them in the past before I started shooting a 7-08 for hunting. There are 2 versions of the 165SGK. One is a spire point the other. Is a hollow point. The HP has a...

You should be on the same list with a guy I know who was in a Red Horse Squadron. was in vehicles hit by IEDs like 9 times. Don’t even ride with him to get coffee. Going with you to the pet store, much less hunting or fishing.... suuuure
