Sidearms & Scatterguns Benelli M2 vs beretta 1301

1301 all day everyday. Yes, I've owned Benelli shotguns also. You won't go wrong with any Benelli, but I'd take a 1301 over an M2 without a second thought.

    Polymer 80 Handgun

I've done a couple. As long as you choose your parts wisely and take the time to do it right - it's not rocket science - you can have a gun that's just as reliable as a factory Glock.

If you don't want muffs, custom molded will probably serve you best.

    RRS R-Lock?

Pretty ingenious. Allow indexing when necessary while still retaining all the benefits of an arcalock system.

    Benelli M4 question and choices

I find that I can shoot it quicker. Seems the shot to shot is just a touch faster than the M4. Also, the ergonomics is better. Bolt release button is fantastic. Just the right size and the shell carrier is smooth. Won't pinch your finger when loading the mag tube. On the M4, I had to...

    Benelli M4 question and choices

Had an M4, now a LTT 1301. I prefer the 1301. Slightly lighter, just as reliable. Having said that, if you want an M4, you probably won't be happy until you get one.

Bulletproof rifle scopes and are newer versions more robust than old?

A modern, high quality variable scope is just as robust as any fixed scope. The old adage of fixed being sturdier no longer applies as long as you get a quality variable magnification scope.

    Gunsmithing 1911 Frame Question

I'm pretty much a long time, hard core 1911 guy. If you live in an area where temperatures can reach 3 figures, it makes sense to have a lightweight, compact frame 1911 option. I don't mind them at all. Having said that, when I don't have to go absolutely bare minimum in clothing, I still...

    D R A K E N B U R G | advance precision rifle system

My pleasure. Certainly a bolt on will be fine since many of us have done it and are quite happy. However having the option of an integrated one (which should help to keep from adding more weight to the gun) will also be an desirable option. For example I think that one of the biggest feature...

May I offer one suggestion? Consider a full length dovetail for the bottom of the handguard. More and more shooters are using this type of mount for use with tripods as well as bipods and I think it will give added value and desirability to your rifle package.

2Q SCAR 20S - Scope Mount MOA & Mount Strength

Get added MOA mount only if you've determined that you'll need the additional elevation on a fairly regular basis. As for the mount. If you are going to be swapping optics regularly and need quick detach capability, I suggest going with ADM or Bobro.

AR pistol short stroking... Any ideas?

Do you have a spare gas block? And, just checking, are you sure you've properly lubed the gun? Doesn't matter if you're using .223 vs 5.56. A properly functioning AR should feed .223 just fine. As suggested above, try to check the gas port size, just to eliminate one possible area that's...

Beretta 1301 what am i looking at/anything to be aware of

Only issue with the Gen 1, as you've noted, is that bolt/shell release latch. Other than that, no major changes. I love my Gen 2 1301, but won't hesitate to get a Gen 1 if a good price is to be had. Changing that release to a non-problematic one is easy and inexpensive.

Really right stuff TFCT 2 series vs 3 series

Each person is different, but to me, there is a noticeable difference between the 2 and 3 series in terms of stability and how much minor movement is transferred to your view through the scope. Going up to the 3 series is worth the extra cost.
