The comp trigger will fit in the AT, but not the AE. I hear what you are saying about going between the AI trigger and comp trigger. I often shoot the AI trigger at ~ 4 lbs pull weight for long stretches, and have no difficulty shooting tight groups. Moving to a light pull trigger takes a...

    Accuracy International AT-X

Those are items returned to AINA. There is only one very recent instance of a trigger going from the customer to XTSP and that is also logged in our RGA data. We approved this process to save time as the owner had a match coming up. I don't know anything about Trigger Tech except a few I have...

"Someone told me . . . . . " Here is a brief history of the AI/XTSP Competition Trigger. There is a persistent belief that AI Comp triggers are unreliable, and this prompted me this morning to review our RGA (return goods authorization) Log. We track 100% of AI products that are returned for...

    Official Accuracy International AT-X

If you bond that action, and then later break off screws it will be a very expensive repair. Bonding isn't needed and we don't recommend it. You have four screws securing the action with at least 2X depth to diameter thread engagement which is more than 4X the thread holding you have with any of...

    AI chassis for Anschutz

The vertical sensitivity is due to the light wood CISM stock. In the AT-X chassis with weights to perfectly balance the gun it shot really well. Keep in mind that 18" barrel is NOT what will be supplied in the AT-X chassis. The 1727F for the chassis will have a 24" barrel with a threaded...

    AI chassis for Anschutz

After a year and a half, there aren't really any issues left to resolve. We want ANA's feedback, but I don't anticipate any significant issues. The price of the Anschutz barreled action includes the 54.30 trigger which has no equal as far as I am concerned. Vudoo and Rim-X buids easily go over $5K.

    AI chassis for Anschutz

Yes. The inlet will fit both actions. Oddly, the 1727F has a front recoil lug while both the 54.18 and 1727F have a center lug slot. We designed the AT-X chassis to use the center lug and gave the front lug slot a lot of clearance to eleminate any contact between the lug and the chassis.

    AI chassis for Anschutz

Since ANA posted a pic of the 1727F in the AT-X AICS prototype, I will add some details. As far as how does the Fortner shoot, I would say it holds up the reputation of Anschutz target rifles. In the fall of 2020 (height of the Rona Pandemic) ANA sent us a 1727F in a wood CISM stock for...

    Accuracy International AT-X

The AT-X has a lot more parts. Doesn’t mean it will be an issue, but more parts is more parts to come loose, keep up with, lose, etc. Actually, the AT-X has fewer parts vs the AT and other AX series rifles More parts means more tools as they aren’t the same size bolts. The current...

The short bridge was always intended to be used in the middle to forward positions. If a zero gap is desired, the full length bridge will give you that. -Scott

    Accuracy International AT-X

NO! The magazine positioning in the AT-X mirrors that of the AX. I stated in an earlier post that the bolt may or may not hold open on an empty magazine on the AT-X and AX series rifles. This is dependent primarily on the magazine. Some will hold the bolt open and some will not. The feeding...

If I understand you correctly, you would like the short bridge to be able to came back to the receiver with no gap as on the full length bridge? -Scott

Don't bend the feed lips. That isn't the problem. The mag body needs to be adjusted wider at the top in line with the retention ribs. This takes some care to do it correctly but is not not beyond what a mechanically inclined owner could do. -Scott

    Accuracy International AT-X

No. Post #2991 had a good photo of both the 0726 (AW/AT) and the 6677 (AX/AT-X) mags. The only difference in the 6677 is the front location lug visible in the photo. -Scott
