    Accuracy International 223 conversion working

I actually own one of those AI 223 "prototypes". I have a new barrel on it and have been testing it recently. The data will be used for a benchmark. This gun feeds quite will, but it isn't 100%. Customers will forgive a 3rd party vendor for less than 100% reliability but AI would get crucified...

    Accuracy International 223 conversion working

All AI rifle designs are tested to failure and the pressure levels far exceed anything specified by SAAMI or CIP. Customers unwittingly test rifles too and we need to understand the behavior of the system in these ultimate failure modes. This is a classic over pressure load. Someone just...

    Accuracy International 223 conversion working

Hi Frank! The last thing I want to do is call you out on your own playing field, but for better or worse it is kind of the public record . . You've got my number! Implying this (above quote) would be flat out wrong and I'm quite sure we have discussed this previously. The ASR trigger that...

    Accuracy International AT-X

This is the correct part number (29394BL) for the AT-X high rail. This will align coplanar with the 20MOA rail that installs on the full length forend bridge. -Scott

The difference is approximately .050". It isn't going to be enough to mess with night vision performance, but it won't be perfectly coplanar.

    Accuracy International AT-X

The AT-X "High Rail" is lower than the AT High Rail. The AT-X High Rail is designed to be coplanar with the full length forend rail. The rails will fit either action, but be aware of the compatibilities. -Scott

The torque specs were included in the latest revision of the AT-X user manual. I have attached a copy here for those with the early versions. -Scott

If the screws are properly torqued they won't come loose and don't need Loctite. Here are the torque specs for the hinge/interface and butt.

No. Within our family of products you aren't going to need an adjustable magazine catch. 3rd party magazines seem to be all over the map and thus the adjustable catches that are showing up on various products. Rimfire mags are another matter entirely. We have all the major rimfires for continued...

No new colors for 2022. We need to recover from getting face punched for making the improvements that early adopters asked for.

    Accuracy International AT-X

With the bridge installed a barrel of 1.250" diameter will fit with clearance. That being said, you will find you don't need an 8+ lb barrel to balance the rifle and stay on target through the recoil cycle. The weight system is a much better approach to tuning the rifle.

You mean P/N 25852BL, 80mm, 7075 alloy, MILSTD Anodize Hardcoat, Cerakote top coat, nitride steel flushcup insert, corrosion resistant fasteners, that will hold over 300 lbs.? Please remember this is still an AI and it is built to the same standards as our military sniper rifles and uses many...

    Accuracy International AT-X

I don't know who "They" is, but the AT-X from the beginning has been sold as a base rifle. We could bundle it up with a whole group of accessories that shooters may or may not use, but the price would be higher.

Let's take a time out from "postulation" on who did what first. I have met Sam personally and helped him with parts for his personal rifles, and as far as I am aware he is still an AI fan and we at AI consider Sam a friend. I advised Sam at SHOT Show 2020 of where AI was in the R&D cycle on the...

I just spoke to Paul at WIN Tactical and he advises that the screws were omitted in shipping by mistake. WIN Tac has sent the bridge screws to both MHSA and Euro Optic. Give them a call if you ordered forend bridge that did not include the screws. -Scott
