    Thanks. To be honest, I'm sort of leaning LMT and while the weight difference isn't a deal breaker (I'll just lift more in the gym!), the Proof Carbon barrel is a cool idea. Does it mate up like a LMT barrel where I can change it easily? I'll look into it. Thanks for the help.

    I've narrowed things down to either a SR25 or LMT MARS-H and fwiw, I shoot Lefty and want a full ambi platform. I've looked at lots of other weapons and while I'd ask you to feel free to chime in with other options, I'm pretty settled on these two. I've shot both of these before and like them...

    Locally, there is a Bass Pro Shop and small gun dealers. Brands I know are available are Leupold, Vortex, Athlon for sure. I’d guess there might be some Burris, Nightforce as well.     Got mine weeks ago but finally installed it, removed the saddle entirely. Much lighter and easier to use with an ARCA rail. Might be the best thing I’ve bought in this forum. If someone wants the old saddle, I’ll send it; PM me.
