    Tempest comparison?

I've had a tempest for around 5/6 years. Never had an issue and it feeds super well with AW mags. Compared to a Sako or Tikka the bolt lift felt a little harder, but its splitting hairs. You don't notice the 2 hitch thing when you're shooting in a match or shooting faster.

Suppressors Abel Company - new offerings - Suppressors!

The accuracy you get shooting an Abel Co. can is top tier. Pumped for their new Ti can.

    Gunsmithing Barrel runout question

Thanks @parshal I appreciate the feed back. I think Gordy used to do that but now seems to be dialing in the throat like you do. Using that method is what I was curious about how much runout in the bore at the muzzle end would be. Again I know that doesn’t effect accuracy I just wanted a...

Cool that’s what I was curious about. Thanks.

    Gunsmithing Barrel runout question

Just the bore, since my understanding is the OD of the barrel itself will always be a little off the bore since drilling a 27” hole will never be dead center in the barrel in relation to the OD So when the bore at the chamber end of the barrel is completely dialed in, how much runout is...

    Gunsmithing Barrel runout question

Trying to get some experience to test a theory.. In regards to the top barrel manufacturers, what is the common runout in the bore you’ve seen at the muzzle end when the barrel is dialed in at the chamber end? I understand all barrels regardless of manufacture have somewhat of curve in the bore...

    Tac Ops Rifles

If you were on the other coast I’d let you try my PMII. The turrets on the Tangent and toolless zero are pretty cool/clicks are a little nicer. Glass might have a slight edge on the Tangent when I compared my PMII to my buddies Tangent, but it’s splitting hairs to try and compare them. I like...

    Tac Ops Rifles

Brought the X-Ray out to the NRL Hunter match in San Diego this weekend. The GNARLIEST conditions I’ve ever shot in.. 15+ mph crossing winds and pissing rain. Rifle didn’t skip a beat. Even was able to smack the 1200 yard boar (not bad for a 308!). Rifle was seriously impressive to shoot in real...

    Tac Ops Rifles

@HenryTheAce that things bad. If you have the opportunity to shoot it at some distance do that and not waste your time at 100. 300 and farther these things are truly impressive.

    Tac Ops Rifles

Nice, I won’t see my TacOps can for at least 6 months.. so jealous you’ll have yours soon. I was having issues with another suppressor (brand will go unnamed) on the X-Ray. After a short call to Mike his suppressor was enroute. Side note.. shout out to Mike and his awesome customer service...

    Tac Ops Rifles

@kthomas I have a TacOps ti 30 in jail right now. I’m friends with a guy who’s apart of Abel Co so he was nice enough to bring out a demo can for me to use. Even brought the one cerakoted in OD! The Tac Ops can will live on the X-Ray when it finally clears. Going to get an Abel Co Biscuit to...

Suppressors Abel Company - new offerings - Suppressors!

Got a chance to run a Biscuit through my Tac Ops and was nothing short of impressed. Recoil impulse was so smooth. The craziest thing was accuracy with the can (it hammered). Some 100 yard groups (all suppressed) before going out to 675 and hammering an ipsc. Targets were 1” circles. 5 shots...
