Is $230 for 8# canisters of Varget a good price? I’ve seen them at L&M stores.

    Movie Theater “The expanse”

I really liked it. Even my wife, who is not into sci fi, liked it. We both enjoyed it because it is realistic human drama, even though the setting and circumstances are different. No stupid space stuff for the sake of stupid space stuff. As Kickin said, story line is ongoing, not just...

    Shot Timer recommendations

I’ve had a PACT MkIV combination timer / chronograph for 25-30 years. It’s been rock solid. It is big, but easy to use. If I was going to buy another timer...I’m seriously looking at one of these: https://www.amg-lab.com They are brand new, but we’re designed and built to address many...

    Best EDC flashlight 2018

I don't think you can go wrong with Surefire. I've been using them since the very first, 60 Lumen 6P flashlight, and now have a collection. They may not have the latest cree led, or fudge their lumen ratings, but they are damned reliable. And, they have great customer service, should you...

All around boots work and casual

+1 on the Shoe Box in Black Earth. Without knowing the issue requiring the orthotics, A friend was told he had to wear them for the rest of is life; fallen arches / plantar fasciitis. He actually went the other way and started wearing minimalist, zero drop shoes (like Vivobarefoot). His...

The CTR is how I got started in this sickness. Then I got my brother hooked with one. You won’t be sorry. Since you are neighbors, check out German Gun Stocks for the Tikkas.

    Fresh blood from The Netherland

Welcome! I got to shoot some weapons in the Netherlands last year and saw an incredible personal collection of historic weapons that were works of art. Had a great time. Wonderful people!

Hunting & Fishing Which Broad Heads for Whitetail?

I like Rage as well. Makes ‘tracking’ easy. And, they are available for good prices on Promotive / Experticity/ ExpertVoice or whatever they are calling it now.

    Hunting & Fishing Game camera?

I can’t speak to video, only use burst / stills. Whatever you get, spend the money and put lithium batteries in it. Seemingly YEARS of use off them.

    Hunting & Fishing Game camera?

If you can afford them, Reconyx are arguably one of the best. I run a couple Browning and Moultrie and am happy with both. They have all come a long way from where they were 5-10 years ago.

Help: Scar 17s Gas Jet Tuning

I noticed my 17 was over gassed when accidentally leaving the gas regulator in the suppressor setting (all factory original) and gun ran fine. After mounting a suppressor (still 16” barrel), I bought a 1.40 (I believe factory OEM is 1.50) gas jet screw from Midwest Gun Works and installing it...
