    Folding stocks. Why?

    My Tikka Tac A1 came with a folding stock. When folded, to me, it seems too thick and bulky to sling comfortably. Also seems kinda awkward in the pelican case. What’s the point? Do any of y’all actually find benefit to a folder?

    Got it. As a software designer myself I get that things can't always please everybody. That said, *this* end user was expecting the transfer to work the same in both directions with append or overwrite options. Thank you for the clear explanation.

    I picked one up for hog hunts inside 150 yards. With a surefire IR illumination it's been perfectly capable. Not a single complaint. Keep up with firmware upgrades and all is well.

    Thanks all. My home range goes out to 700 and I have 1,000+ available somewhat locally. The last match I shot was out to 850. So, I may try some 147s but will keep on keeping on with the 140 ELD-Ms for the bulk of it.

    Sawtooth Rifles RRS rail

    Can anyone provide 1st hand experience on different clamps being used with the Sawtooth rails? I have one of Sawtooth rails bolted to my Tikka Tac A1 and am trying to decide if spending the coin on an RRS is necessary or if I can get away with a less expensive option like a manfroto, sunway, etc.

    ARCA mount/clamp - is cheap OK?

    I have a Leveling Base with PIG Saddle now. I’m looking to swap out the saddle for an Arca clamp. Do I need to spend big bucks on an RRS clamp? Or is a Manfroto/Suunway quality option good to go? Total weight is around 15#.
