Going to GA to hog hunt and plane on using dta with 308 covert, it's a 16" 1-8 twist, may consider the 26" 260 barrel. Wondering what's gonna be the best bullet for this application? Amen cb, how's this for the old way? Shot sniper match at Rayners range with my 260 covert yesterday. I love this gun!! We had a stage with a 2.75" tall by 10.25 wide target and the distance was unknown, wind was around 8 to 10 mph. No range finder allowed, so used scope estimated it at 532...- dixie3bass
