    As a word of caution, that printed burlap from Walmart is some cheap water based paint. It will wash off and run when it gets wet. So don’t expect the color to stay. Otherwise it’s pretty good at getting bulk burlap at discount prices.

    Dumb question: Does an AR lower really affect accuracy?

    I’ve heard that the lower is just a box to hold parts. As long as it’s in spec it’s good. Now, the parts it holds are another story. Not sure how true that is but it seems if the specs are correct it doesn’t matter what is on the outside.

    Quick method is to roll up some card stock into a tube. Slide it in and let it unroll. Stuff it full of paper towel to make it seal pretty well then use a razor to cut off excess of the roll sticking out the back.

    Determining rifle angle

    A mil-dot master has a slope angle indicator on the back of it. Use a string through the hole in the corner and put a small weight on the end. Small washer, fishing weight, or even tie an empty piece of brass on it.
