    Accuracy International AXSR's are HERE!!

If you look closely at the pics from the UK show you can see the 3 positions for the safety. There's 2 positions at the rear marked with what looks like "L" and "S".

    Accuracy International AXSR's are HERE!!

I was comparing pics yesterday. I'm kind of torn between the two. The chassis and rear tang of the MK3 is thinner behind the mag well which does't appeal as much to me. The chassis in front of the mag well is different as well (looks wise). The trigger guard is rounded on the MK3 and actually...

    Gunsmithing AXMC Bolt ejector removal

Old thread I know, but I do this all the time to find my lands. I like to have a helper, but I have improvised when no one is around. I use the V block from my model 700 bolt tool set. I clamp the bolt down on that to my work bench with the roll pin straight up. That thing isnt going anywhere...

    Axmc single shot follower

It really doesn't contact much of the follower. Out comes the dremel.

    Axmc single shot follower

What timing. I spent the morning trying to find a bobsled or the like for an AXMC. Was about to post a new thread then saw this one. I would definitely be in for one if someone is gauging demand. I single feed my .338 Lapua. Can't stand having to reach in and push the follower down almost every...

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

I’m using the Cadex drag bags. Sized for folded stock. I’m quite happy with them. They appear well made. Price was not too bad either.

    Bighorn Origin question

Yeah, to use the short action TL3 barrels on an Origin.

    Bighorn Origin question

Bighorn/Zermatt posted this info on the forum before. Try a search for it. If I recall the origins use the same tenon as the long action TL3/SR3, so those prefits should work.

Beauty. Can't wait to see one in elite sand as well as one in black.

Help!! 338 Lapua Muzzle brake . CADEX MX2, MX1, APA FB or Insite Heathen ?

I’m loving the Sidewinder on the .338LM AXMC. I feel like I could shoot it all day. Same brake on the TRG-42 but I definitely notice the recoil on that rifle.

What caliber did you get? I was going to order .338 LM but I'm starting to think .300 WM instead, but an 11" twist?! for the AX MkIII. 10 twist for the AXSR. I'll have to wait and see what we're going to get in Canada.

Nice! Has anyone heard when we can expect the AXSR rifles to start showing up?

Yeah I can see that with FDE, but it's odd that they actually use the names elite sand and elite midnight for the other two. I was hoping they were straight up elite cerakote colors.

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

I've gone through this entire thread a couple times now trying to decide which color AXSR to go with. I've always been a black guy, but leaning towards Elite Sand this go round. Are the elite sand and FDE just Cerakote's E-150 and E-200? Or are they proprietary mixes for AI?

Rifle Scopes Talk me out of a Vortex AMG

I love mine. I've hunted with it for the last few years and swap it over to my LR rigs for target use too. There are times when I find 6x a little much out in the bush. But I don't think I'll be getting rid of it anytime soon.

Range Report Berger has a new 7mm bullet

    Took a pic of my 7mm lineup. Thought I'd share. L to R. 145 LRX, 150 TTSX, 168 LRX, 180 ELD-M, 183 SMK, 190 LR Hybrid, 195 EOL, 197 SMK.

Range Report Berger has a new 7mm bullet

I lucked out. After being a little turned off on the price of the 190 Bergers, and the discontinuation of 500 round boxes, I decided I should give the 183 a try and checked to see if my LGS had any. They were on sale for over 50% off. $38 CAD per box. Cleaned them out.
